Zanzibar sits within our on-ground reach, which means we can fly you straight from a Mara or Serengeti airstrip to the coast without a night lost in transit. We take private villas and small houses with their own staff and chef rather than large resorts, and for real seclusion we look to Pemba. Stone Town is best walked early, with a historian, before the day heats up. Dietary and cultural preferences — halal among them — are arranged as a matter of course.
